Questions from Readers: Might the Bibles prohibition about blood apply only to blood from a victim killed by man, not to unbled meat of an animal that died of itself or blood from a live animal or human?

i was suprised to see that there was a 'question from readers' written (27 years ago!

) providing a rebuttal to those who use leviticus 17:10-15 (such as myself) to argue that the prohibiltion against blood only applies for a life that is taken.. i will present the article here.

Hi Pirata, your answer is typicle of Jehovah's wintesses today and their reasonings. Sadly you are all very very misled by your governing body.

Let me point out what Matthew chapter 21v43 says "Therefore I tell you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you (Israel) and given to a nation producing the fruits of it". Yes, the Israelites are no longer God's people today. Not since 70 CE.

All the laws under the mosaic covenant are all now obsolete, finished. They do not apply to Christians today who are under a new covenant with Jesus Christ which does not include any of the mosaic laws.

If you read the "acts of the apostles" correctly you will see it was because of jealousy on the part of the Jews that James, the half brother of Jesus, made this concession to the Gentiles in the three cities mentioned, Antioch, Syria and Cilicia because there was a high proportion of Jews living there and they did not like the Gentiles having the holy spirit poured out upon them when they had not lived according to the mosaic laws. Acts 13v45-51, 17v5,13. Just to quote a few places to prove the cituation.

At this stage I would also like to add, only three cities were mentioned in this letter from James, so what about the other Gentiles living in different cities around the world? Paul certainly did not teach this addition of James and he was appointed as the apostle to the nations, the Gentiles, by Jesus himself.Which proves again, it was just to appease the Jews in these three cities where there were a lot of Jews living amongst the Gentiles.

Actually James went above the heads of the apostles to write this concession because the church in Jerusalem had already received a thorough witness by Peter, Paul and Barnabas and the many ones that travelled with Peter to Cornelius, Acts 15v6-14. that no mosaic laws were placed upon them, they just had to put faith in Jesus, not in any laws. In fact James was building his faith upon the laws and not upon the apostles appointed by Jesus as the 12 foundations stones. He thought at that time he was helping the Jews but in actual fact, he was hindering them coming to the Christ by compromising the truth. Strangely today, the governing body portray themselves as the church in Jerusalem who make all the decisions but, they too are building their faith and yours on the false addition of James.

Also I might add the early watchtowers under Russell makes this very point, and the letter in Acts 15v22 should never have been made. It was going against the holy spirit and against the sacrifice of Jesus who fulfileed the laws of Moses.

So I encourage you and all your fellow brothers to read the account in acts for yourselves and not listen and be guided by false teachings of your governing body.

Do I know what I am talking about? Yes I certainly do as an ex witness of 38 years.

Hi RosePetal, I am certainly not advocating any new religion and I am not saying we should follow the same channel or another branch of jehovahs witnesses, what I am trying to do is to bring to the attention of everyone who was or still is, associated with Jehovahs witnesses their false teachings and views of God's word the bible.

If I might explain, there are many people today who profess to be of the true kingdom seed, the faithful and discreet slave class, even in these articles, but are they? You can test them yourself using God's word the bible.

For instance, do they still use the name Jehovah after leaving the org?

2nd Thes 2 shows the man of lawlessness sitting inside the temple of God, proclaiming to be God, the temple being the anointed ones today. In Rev 11 it shows the importance is the temple and not the courtyards of the city, (which they call the great crowd) it is the temple ones today which are the important issue. They are to be harvested as a remnant from amongst the kingdom seed as the first fruits, the first resurrection.They will also be trying to help Gods people still in captivity to see the truth, just as the illustration of Jesus shows, "when the owner returns he will reward them", so this work was prophesied.

Let me explain, you say, why can't these ones be in all religions, but is that logical? Which religion today teach this from Matt 24v45 about this servant, only JWS. Would they understand about 2nd Thes for instance, the temple being one place inside symbolic Jerusalem.

Our God is a God of order, Jerusalem his city did not cover the whole of the earth but a small area just like his people will be in one group of people, spiritual Israel. Remember the apostle Paul, he was trained and taught by the school of the Pharisees then when Jesus appeared to him he was guided and taught through the holy spirit all the teachings and training he received as a Pharisee was very useful to him because he was able to preach to Jews and Gentiles alike.

So RosePetal, what I am trying to do is help all those who are still in the org to check their teachings against the bible and yes, they will need someone who like Paul, who knows both sides, the org, the Pharisees with their many wrong laws, and the bible. As for the professed faithful and discreet servant class today, you will need to check them out, ask them who the man of lawlessness is today who Paul says is sitting inside the temple class of anointed ones, if they do not know, they are not of that servant being used today because Paul says it will be revealed to them.

I would just like to point out I was very strong inside the org for 38 years, studying all their liturature, I even had all the watchtowers from the very first one printed and studied them, but then in 2002 according to the fulfillment of the prophecy in Daniel 9v25-27 which I have learned during the last 7 years, did not start in 445 as the org teach, the time of the messiah to make an inspection visit took place.

It was revealed to me that all the teachings I had learned was wrong, not just revealing they were wrong, but I was actually shown the true teachings. I had been woken up spiritually speaking, just as the apostle Paul had been, and just like Paul I am trying to help others still inside the org today to get out from amongst them and quit touching the unclean thing.

The last 7 years of that prophecy ends with the "anointing of a holy one" Jesus is given the throne of the kingdom which covers the whole of the earth. when that happens, he will ride into battle against all the angelic princes who have been ruling. The prophecy also shows the symbolic city of Jerusalem, God's city, will also be destroyed. Very shortly Jehovahs witnesses will be no more, either their name will change from Jehovahs witnesses to another one as in 1931, or the religion will be destroyed. That is why we are urged to "get out from among them". I hope this is of some help to you RosePetal. check these out and read all the scriptures and see the truth. Don't forget to pray first for our God to open your eyes through his holy spirit.

Based on Teel's JC thread why dont we all sue them?

teel's thread re his jc and his lawyer's advice has made me think....why dont all of us disfellowshipped ones sue the org for defamation of character????.

imagine if we could find a lawyer who'd be prepared to start a suit against them on behalf of us all?.

any thoughts?.

Hi Lozhasleft,

In theory good but in practice a complete waste of time and energy, when someone showed me the correct teachings from the bible I dissasociated myself. As to their custom, a PUBLIC TALK was given in the KH, I was called many things and I was "GANGRENE". Everyone knew the elder was speaking about me and I was told this by at least 5 other people who were present at the talk some actually crying because of the venom which came from the elder.

Not only the public talk but these remarks followed me continually until in the end I was forced to seek a solisitor to quell the poison. Did it work? No it did not, the body of elders replied to my solisitor, nothing was said about me and the claims were totally false.

SO THE WHOLE BODY OF ELDERS LIED. EVEN THOUGH 5 PERSONS REPORTED THE MATTER TO ME WHO ACTUALLY

HEARD THE TALK.

One lady inside the KH asked the elders, what would happen if she talked to me because sh did not believe I was so bad, and she was told, if she did talk to me, she would receive the same fate, difellowship.

THERE IS ONE LAW FOR THE CONGREGATION AND ONE FOR THE ELDERS, THEY ARE ALLOWED TO LIE.

The Wheat and the Weeds Parable

i never did understand this parable, and now i know why.

the caretaker of the field was told to let the weeds and the wheat grow together until the harvest.

i've had gardens, and i've never had one morsel of harvestable food survive an onslaught of weeds.

Hi Prodical Son, quite an interesting point you have, of course you are talking about the illustration of Jesus in

earthly terms, and we know just how the weeds take over the whole garden, whereas Jesus was using the

illustration as to "the kingdom seed". A spiritual seed.

If you were referring to Matt 13v24 onwards, the illustration is, Jesus will sow kingdom seed on the earth,

"the good seed means the sons of the kingdom" v38. Those whoes names are written down in

heaven to receive the kingdom. While they were sleeping spiritually speaking, Satan came and

sowed his seed amongst them inside the church of the Christ .

Just like your garden, the weeds sown by Satan became so overpowering they were choking the

fine seed and in verse 49, it shows the angels will do the separating work. This is the first harvest of the first-fruits.
